Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School was founded in 1993. The school is a private non-enterprise unit and implements the principal responsibility system under the leadership of the board of directors. It is a civilized first-class public welfare unit in Shanghai and is also an authorized school for the primary school curriculum of the International Baccalaureate Organization. The school has two campuses and three departments. The Western Campus is located inside the campus at No. 56, Lane 101, Guilin West Street. It covers a total area of 10,665 square meters, a total building area of 6,072 square meters, and a total indoor and outdoor sports area of 3,498 square meters. Currently, it has 20 teaching classes and 829 students. The eastern campus is the Bilingual Department and Integration Department. It is located at No. 380 Pubei Road, covering an area of 12,050 square meters, a school building area of 8,272 square meters, and an indoor and outdoor sports field area of 4,282 square meters. It currently has 34 teaching classes and 904 students.
